It was a “eureka” moment discovering the handmade appliqués in a corner of a booth at the Delhi show. I imagined the women cutting and stitching the decorative patterns. What I was looking for was a fabric that fits both classic and modern, and is light and sunny without being flimsy… And above all no name-brand! Inspiration is intuitive, and taste a blend of self confidence and gut.
